In 2018 we introduced a new ethical sourcing system certification and consumer-facing label for brands that respect people and biodiversity.
The new label allows brands to show that biodiversity is an important issue, and reflects the growing awareness shown by our decade of research on 60,000 consumers in sixteen countries through the UEBT Biodiversity Barometer. In 2018 for example, 80% of respondents said that it is personally important to them to contribute to conserving biodiversity.
