Biodiversity Action Plan Monitoring Tool: BAP-Monitor
Monitoring biodiversity actions is complex and costly, and hands-on tools are hard to find. The BAP-Monitor, an easy-to-use way to monitor biodiversity actions in farms and wild collection areas, is an attempt to fill this gap.
The BAP-Monitor was developed as part of the Private Business Action for Biodiversity (PBAB) project, which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) as part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI). Global Nature Fund and UEBT collaborated in the development of the tool.
