In 2024, Natura, Brazil’s largest cosmetic multinational  unveiled its new biodiversity policy and undertaking the process to define and disclose impacts and dependencies under the Taskforce for Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). 

This note provides an overview of the new Natura biodiversity policy and initial findings under TNFD, highlighting the importance of integrating biodiversity across business functions, considering it in the context of broader sustainability issues, and recognising its links to people’s rights and well-being.
