Resilience rooted in Nature- flagship report

How biodiversity actions drive climate adaptation and more resilient supply chains in botanicals

Who is this for?

This report is for companies, sourcing partners, policymakers and other stakeholders who focus on botanicals supply chains.

What is inside?

The report provides evidence and examples of how addressing biodiversity in responsible sourcing strategies is a strong tool to build climate adaptation and resilience to secure and stabilize botanicals supply chains, and for buyers (local and international processing companies, and downstream brands) to advance their climate and nature goals. It supports companies to re-think their approach to sourcing botanicals and invest in actions that support climate resilience and secure supply. It also calls for companies to prioritise the issue of botanicals vulnerability in the context of their risk and climate strategies and to prioritise those botanicals supply chains where future climate risks exist.
