UEBT List of Prohibited Agrochemicals

This document provides and overview of the agrochemicals that are banned or require special risk mitigation strategies under the UEBT standard.

In the context of the partnership between UEBT and Rainforest Alliance, UEBT has adopted the list of prohibited and risk mitigation use agrochemicals defined by Rainforest Alliance.

The base of the list of the prohibited agrochemicals are the FAO/WHO Guidelines on Highly Hazardous Pesticides.

UEBT list of Banned Agrochemicals is also available through the ISEAL IPM Coalition* Database and the ISEAL IPM Coalition’s App available on apple store and google play.

*UEBT is a Supporting Organisation of the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Coalition promoted by ISEAL. The coalition aims to reduce and eventually eliminate the use of highly hazardous pesticides, and to promote more sustainable alternatives. It also aims to harmonise approaches to pesticides between ISEAL member standards. As of today, the Coalition consists of 11 members.
