Certification body requirements

UEBT works with Certification Bodies (CBs) that meet our recognition system. UEBT maintains internal oversight of the competence of the CBs via this system.

This document applies to prospective and approved CBs.

It details the requirements for CBs to acquire and maintain UEBT approval to carry out UEBT audits, the obligations of the CB, the rules regarding the qualifications of auditors, the responsibilities of the CBs and their personnel, the rules that guide the CB on actual auditing.
