Requirements for certification bodies

UEBT works with certification bodies (CBs) that meet our authorisation requirements. Once CBs are authorised, UEBT continues to monitor the competence of the CBs.

This document applies to prospective and authorised CBs.

It details the requirements for CBs to acquire and maintain UEBT authorisation to carry out UEBT and UEBT/RA audits, the rules regarding the authorisation of auditors and the responsibilities of the CBs and their personnel.
