System checklist for Organisations not at Source

 
 

This document is for UEBT (or UEBT/Rainforest Alliance) certificate holders and potential certificate holders that are not directly responsible for cultivation or wild collection practice, e.g., manufacturers or brands buying from traders or not working in the sourcing area. In the UEBT (or UEBT/Rainforest Alliance) system, they are called Organisations not at Source or OnaS. 

This UEBT System Checklist (formerly called the “UEBT Certification checklist”) is used by external auditors when conducting audits for the UEBT ingredient certification programme or the UEBT / Rainforest Alliance Herbs & Spices Programme. This checklist covers the certification requirements applicable to organisations that are, or are seeking to become, certificate holders under these certification programmes.
