Additional guidance, training and tools 

In UEBT’s Resources for members and certificate holders you can find several useful tools for meeting certain requirements inside the standard, such as biodiversity conservation or living wages. The password to enter this section is Biodiversity2021. 

You can also learn more about the process and the requirements of certification by using the UEBT Learning Platform. UEBT’s Learning Platform provides several short online courses in short, recorded presentations, using online quizzes and factsheets you can download for more information.   

UEBT/Rainforest Alliance Herbs & Spices Programme

If you are seeking UEBT/Rainforest Alliance Herbs & Spices Programme, the UEBT Learning Platform contains several short videos on requirements in this programme. 

In this programme, the UEBT standard is complemened by select Rainforest Alliance requirements, including requirements related to traceability and shared responsibility (related to making investments in sustainability and in paying a sustainability differential), among others.

On traceability, the Rainforest Alliance has a traceability platform called MultiTrace for herbs, spices, rooibos and other herbal tea ingredients. It is a single transactional system where farmers and companies record all purchases and sales of the Rainforest Alliance and UEBT/Rainforest Alliance certified herbs & spices.
