UEBT certification focuses on requirements from the UEBT standard. It includes requirements on basic human rights and critical social and environmental considerations that need to be checked along supply chains. It also includes additional social, environmental and economic criteria that contribute to positive impact.
Not all requirements must be met to achieve certification. Some requirements are possible to implement in later years so that high priority actions can be taken first.
UEBT offers guidance that zooms into key issues of the standard. These short factsheets are helpful for current and potential certificate holders to go deeper into criteria, get helpful tips and read examples that companies may encounter. Guidance is now available on these topics and more will be added over time:

UEBT is part of the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Coalition that aims to reduce and eventually eliminate the use of highly hazardous pesticides. As such, UEBT publishes its list of banned agrochemicals in the coalition database and joins collaborative projects to find more sustainable alternatives to the use of pesticides.
